Battery Cages

Gartechs’ specially designed H frame housing system for laying hens provides a comfortable and healthy environment to the birds to help improve their laying efficiency. The GE Ultima Air is also available in the Enrich-able option which allows the bird to live in a spacious area with ample space to move and spread their wings. The box height meets requirements recommended by European Union Council Directive 1999/74/EC for Enrich-able cages. There are two variants of this product available; GE Ultima Air comes with a depth of 24.6 inches (62.5 cm) whereas the GE Ultima Air Wide has a deeper box of 28.5 inches (72.5 cm) which is designed for higher housing capacities where space and initial investment costs are the constraints.
